Started by Art Davie & Rorion Gracie and considered today's one of the fastest growing sports today Mixed Martial Arts has always been around but it wasn't until the Ultimate Fighting Championships that really jumped started the sport. The first ever UFC event had introduced some brutal battles that help set the rules regulations to make the sport a lot safer. The event also started a lot of controversy because of how brutal the sport was it was no rounds winner wins by knockout or submission. An international phenomena this sport is slowly but surely taking over fans of combat sports and began with the first ultimate fighting championship won by MMA legend Royce Gracie.
