The PAC 12 before this year was known as the PAC 10. The PAC 12 was formed July 1, 2011 after University of Colorado and University of Utah were added. The Pac-12 is one of the leading conferences in college sports with conference championships. They claim180 NCAA team titles over the past two decades and 27 different men's and women's championships. They also lead the nation in the NCAA championships in 45 of the last 51 years.
